No assist at all sadly. The machine does non meet the headphones at all. It sees them as Speakers and the sound comes through them. If I unplug them it comes through the speakers.

And then Windows 10 is not detected the headphones

I am having the same problem and this did not piece of work.  When I plugged my headphones in (to the front headphone jack, not the back of the reckoner), there was a pop-up to select device and I selected headphones.  However in the volume mixer information technology shows them as speakers, and I have to put them to a level of i to not be deafened by the racket.  Before upgrading to Windows x the audio normalized levels when I plugged these headphones in, so that I would stay at roughly the aforementioned book as my speakers, and the figurer recognized them as headphones when I plugged them in.  Now it thinks everything is headphones and I can't conform my book because 1% is already at the top of how loud they should be.
